Compared with thirty or forty years ago, money and finances are now a more significant factor, contributing to the high failure rate of marriages in India. However, such cases were very minimal, but now it has skyrocketed. So, to avoid the unnecessary drama and psychological nuisance for youngsters, which will make them completely abhor the family dynamics. It is better to make pre-nuptial agreements valid in India. All fake cases of extortion and money-grabbing business models will automatically end. Laws should be made gender-neutral and implemented as well. It is because now we are in a small world, one event in any corner of the world acts as a butterfly effect for the other. Everybody is a grownup to make their life choices. As for the couples or people getting involved for a new life, if they can’t sort it on their own and need opinions from others, then probably they are not ready to be in any relationships irrespective of the gender. The working class are law-abiding citizens who support the wheel of the economy, when you break the wheel you break the country. So next time some lectures you on having three kids, declining fertility rate, tell them to take the hands out of their left pockets and implement the necessary laws. Making pre-nuptial valid will automatically safeguard the interests of both parties. Let us be honest here, if someone looks at a man as an ATM then the woman will be seen as an object, we don’t need to push the community in that direction. You can’t solve modern days problem with archaic attitude, nor can you ignore them by burying your head in the sand. Currently, people are way smarter than previous generations because of access to information. They know exactly what they need. And if you deal with them and bring drama or chicanery, you will push your own kids to disaster.
